Prickly Pear Hair Collection Design Concept
PERSONAL PROJECT
Prickly Pear Intense Hydration Line is a design concept for a locally produced haircare line which comprises of a shampoo, conditioner, deep treatment masque, leave-in-conditioner and an oil blend. Due to the current COVID-19 climate, a lot of sectors in the economy have been affected including the import and export of goods. This made me aware of how a lack of locally produced goods has a negative impact on the country, especially when products and services have been categorised as essential and non-essentials goods/services. This means certain products are no longer available, or just hard to come by.
